The Outreach Program for Soccer (TOPS) is a community based training and team soccer program for young athletes with special needs. A TOPS soccer player is defined as any youth player, 6-12 years of age, with a physical or mental disability, who would like to play with a team based on ability, rather than age.
CHSC TOPS will place emphasis on teamwork, development, training and participation. Our goal is to enable young athletes with special needs to develop their physical fitness, technical skills, courage and self-esteem through the game of soccer. Six one-hour sessions will be held on Sunday afternoons at Schaeffer Elementary School.
