ABOUT THE
ACADEMY
In collaboration with players and coaches
from the Camp Hill High School soccer team, the Camp Hill Soccer Club is excited to bring our
third Lions Soccer Academy
to the community. Academy curriculum will have an exciting combination of
passing, dribbling, shooting, and skill development, with application to
game situations.
Our youth program will benefit boys and
girls with various ability levels in U8 to U12 age groups. Children from
the beginner to the all-star will improve their skill and game awareness.
We will emphasize individual skill development in a dynamic and fun
environment. Lion
Soccer Academy
is open to residents of Camp Hill and the immediate surrounding
communities. Groups will be divided by ability and age.
We will have a coach player ration of
no greater then 1:10
DATES
The Academy will be held July 21-24, 5:30 to 8pm
COST
$85 per camper
Payment in full is required to reserve a
spot in the Academy. Please make checks payable to Camp Hill Soccer Club.
WHAT TO
BRING
Each camper should bring the following items to the academy each day:
cleats, age appropriate ball, shin guards, water bottle and a snack.

DIRECTOR
Chris Hartman is the Camp Hill Soccer Club Technical Director. Chris
oversees the Camp Hill SC player and coach development. He holds a NSCAA
National Diploma and a USSF "E" License.
Chris is currently the Assistant Men’s
Coach at Dickinson College and the Co-Coach of the City Islanders Super Y
U20 boy’s team. Chris has recently trained teams in the Gettysburg Area
Soccer Club. Chris has coached at Annville-Cleona High School, Avalanche F.C.
and Campbelltown Soccer Club. Chris also has been on staff for various
soccer camps including LVC soccer camps, Number One Striker Camp, Nike
Soccer Camp and Gettysburg Area Soccer Academy.
HEAD ACADEMY COACH
Jonathan
Piraino
is currently the Camp Hill High School Girls Varsity Head Coach and the Camp
Hill High School Boys Varsity Assistant Coach. He played for Clifton Park
Soccer Club in upstate New York on three State Cup Championship teams. He
then went on and played at Shenendehowa High School which is traditionally a
nationally and state ranked high school soccer program. He began his
coaching career in Clifton Park with the U-10 team which he took to the
State Cup Semi-Finals. After moving to Pennsylvania, he began his high
school coaching career at Camp Hill High School. He is a member of NSCAA
and has many clinical certifications. He is a young, energetic coach who
will eagerly demonstrate any drill.
ACADEMY
STAFF
Members of the boys and girls Varsity and Middle School coaching staff will
be present as well as highly qualified all star level players from both the
boys and girls programs. Each staff member is chosen carefully for his or
her ability to communicate well with young people and for their knowledge
of the game.
